Osaka Science Museum

This trip we decided to visit Osaka Science Museum. The museum is located at Nakanoshima and has four exhibition floors. Also have a planetarium hall at the basement. I asked the information lady if the planetarium show is suitable for small kids (2 and 3 yrs old). The show is about 45 minutes and need to be seated all the time so I decided not to go this time. I would love to take the kids to see when they are little bit older! After we bought tickets, we took lift and went to the 4th floor and that's where we started to look around.
4th Floor "The Universe and Discovery"
This floor exhibits space and stars. My 3 years old enjoyed experimenting the gravity and the principle of leverage.

3rd Floor "Familiar Chemistry"
This floor exhibits metals and minerals. Kids were asking about the "kids floor" so we quickly went through the 3rd floor. The " colorful and beautiful stones"were not so interesting for my 2 and 3 years old..

2nd Floor "Enjoy Science"

The "Kids floor"! Kids enjoyed interacting with the world of science.

1st Floor "Electric and Energy"
We didn't spend much time here. My kids (2 and 3 yrs old) spent most of the time on the 2nd floor. We went to the museum weekdays so not many kids/tourist were there. There is a small restaurant at the exit but we decided to have Ramen outside (requested by my boy). Some small restaurants are available close by so ask the museum staff where to go.
