Hokkaido Kodomo no Kuni Park is about 1h15minutes drive from Sapporo city. We normally stop here on the way or back from Furano city. You can also access from the highway which is very convenient. The park is full of excitements we could easily spend a whole day here!
The park has free and paid area. If you have time highly recommended to go to the paid area of the park. The entrance building of the paid area is like a pyramid and inside has long slides and play equipment.
After the indoor play area, you will see big play ground and a nice green hill.

After you pass the grass area, you will see a obstacle course in the forest.
Some are difficult for the small kids like ours (3 and 5yrs old) but they enjoyed it with our help.
Free area also has lots fun equipment, good place to stop between the long drives.
There is a nice shop/cafe to stop between Sapporo and the park. They sell Hokkaido products and some nice import goods.
