Maruyama zoo in Sapporo

Off to the ZOO!

We went to Maruyama Zoo in Sapporo late June and it was still cold (for me) but kids enjoyed the zoo very much.

At the Children's zoo, just next to the entrance, you can pat sheep and see small animals.

The elephant area is under construction and planing to be open in 2018.
Polar bear area is newly open in March 2018. Kids had lots of fun looking at active bears.

This zoo also have a park where kids can run around. We spend good half day at the zoo and the park.
