Kamui no Mori Park at Asahikawa, Hokkaido

Kamui no Mori park has a large indoor play area and outdoor park.
We went there when it was snowing so this was perfect for my then 1 year old. She couldn't walk well with her snow boots on and didn't like wearing gloves so she was carried most of the time.

So, when we got there she was so happy to run around without her snow boots on.

Kids had so much fun exploring by themselves. There are wooden ball pool, bouldering wall, maze, slide, hammock and also small play area for toddlers.
If the weather is nice you can have picnic outside but not many shops around the park. If you want to have lunch there I would recommend you to stop at the convenience store on the way to buy sandwiches/bento box.

Our kids loves this park and we knew they don't want to leave so we carried our lunch there. There is a small eating area (with table and chairs) inside.
