Eating with kids in Namba Osaka

1) Takashimaya Department store (shopping and dining)
Namba Takashimaya department store is located next to Namba station. 7-9F are the restaurants floors. If you are looking for something easy after long day out then "Ahaaina" on the 7th floor is good. They have high chairs, pasta and chips all we need to feed the hungry 3 years old quickly!

Kids friendly restaurant at Namba Takashimaya Department store:
- Cafes on 3rd, 4th and 6th floor
- Japanese sweets cafe on the 5th floor has high chairs.

7th floor:
- Ahaaina (Pasta, Pancake)
- Grill Capital (Japanese western style)
- Tocho (Hong Kong food)
- Din Tai Fung (Dim Sum)

8th floor:
- KELLER KELLER -RETREAT- (pizza, oven dish)

9th floor:
- Rose Dining (Japanese western and chines cuisine)

*On the kids floor (6F) there is a small free play area if they want to play while parent shop. Free pram rental as well as English interpreter are available at the information center on the 1st floor.

*Swissotel (where we stayed) is located right next to Takashimaya.

2) Yakiniku Gyuta (BBQ) in NAMBA CITY has a kids play area
Located at 1st Floor of NAMBA CITY shopping mall (next to Nankai Namba station). This is a all you can eat, all you can drink Japanese BBQ restaurant. There is one table which has kid play area attached. Play area is small but has toys and books and enough for 3 years old to be occupied while mum and dad eat! Normally at Japanese BBQ restaurant, BBQ grill is in the middle of the table so if the kids are siting at table be very careful..
Only one table is available with the play area attached so better to book in advance!
